“CBS Mornings” unveils new team, new studio and new format

CBS News is launching “CBS Mornings” on September 7 from its new studio in Times Square, said Neeraj Khemlani, president and co-head of CBS News and the CBS Television Stations.

The new show will be co-hosted by Gayle King, Tony Dokoupil and – the latest addition to the team – Nate Burleson, an Emmy Award-winning sports analyst.

Season 16 Finalists Announced as Competition Will Narrow Down Lineup to 10 Acts

America’s Got Talent is getting close to crowning a champion.

On Wednesday, following the first of two semifinal episodes of season 16, five finalists were announced after the overnight audience vote was tallied. Tuesday night’s episode saw 11 acts perform, including a wild card selection by the judges. The wild card contestant was announced just before the start of the show and brought back after being eliminated in the previous round.
