Darien kids remind high schoolers to ‘stay positive’ during finals


After she was approached by a local 4-year-old and her mom with the idea to make uplifting art for Darien High School students during finals week, resident Debra Dunbar of Just Imagine Art made it happen.

Several preschoolers and elementary school students made pieces of art with encouraging messages on them and handed them out at Darien High School on Friday, June 10.

The artwork carried positive messages, including “you got this,” “stay positive” and “you are beautiful.”
