Tallahassee business owners create contest to inspire kids to express themselves

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A group of Tallahassee business owners have come up with a unique way to inspire kids to express themselves.

The Kicks Collective is a contest for kids to create a custom design on a pair of shoes.

“Everyone wears shoes right? And shoes take you places every day,” business partner Morgan Evers said. “But, shoes can also be a vehicle to express yourself.”

‘Water Is Life’ Student Art Contest Opens For Palos Verdes Kids

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — West Basin Municipal Water District announced its 2021 “Water Is Life” art contest is now open for Palos Verdes student submissions.

The annual art contest from West Basin recognizes student creativity and innovation throughout its service area. Student artists help inspire their communities to support water conservation as a way of life by creating thought-provoking water-smart pieces of art.
