Funding Arts Broward 2023 Grant Applications Are Now Available

Funding Arts Broward, a nonprofit arts ambassador organization committed to preserving and cultivating the arts in Broward County, has opened its grant applications for 2023 funding. Local nonprofit arts organizations are encouraged to apply, online, for program-specific category grants awarding up to $15,000 at fundingartsbroward.org/grants. FAB is also continuing its Education Grants dedicated to art appreciation and skill acquisition for grades K-12. Eligible organizations may apply for both a Visual and Performing Arts Grant and an Education Grant. The deadline to apply to be considered for 2023 funding is January 21, 2022.

Duke Energy Foundation awards $2,500 grant

Sep. 29—RUSHVILLE — Duke Energy Indiana has awarded $2,500 to Imagine:nation, Rush County Arts and Cultural Council.

The grant funds will be used to repurpose the Historical Booker T. Washington Community Center into a vibrate facility dedicated to providing a public space for creating and/or showcasing arts and culture that is an essential ingredient to the community.

Scioto Foundation announces second quarter grant awards for 2021

Aug. 17—PORTSMOUTH — For the second quarter of 2021, The Scioto Foundation has announced ten grant awards totaling $50,150.

The recipients include nonprofit organizations in the local area representing the fields of community development, arts and culture, civic benefit, animal shelter, education and personal development.

Friends of Portsmouth was awarded a grant of $2,800 from the Ed and Helen Fannin Fund to be used for the purchase of holiday lights from Second Street to Market Street to enhance the Winterfest experience.
