This year’s competition pits all-stars vs. present stars

Dancing with Our Stars returns with past winners facing new competitors.

The competition returns for its eighth year with local celebrities and their partners competing for $1 votes to win the famous Mirror Ball Trophy on Feb. 5.

Reservations for Dancing with Our Stars 2022 can be made by calling the Highlands Museum & Discovery Center at 606-329-8888 and voting online has already started and continues until the competition on Feb. 5. Dancing with Our Stars includes a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. with a gourmet dinner catered by the 3J Group

2. “Space Camp,” an EP from Ironton-based, genre-crossing Appalachian rock from Building Rockets.

3. Television series, Press Room Recordings, filmed by Armstrong Cable. This series features original music from locals and musicians passing through our region.

ARTS AND CULTURE: Veteran’s art on display at OU Southern gallery – The Tribune

The 30 works of Mark Tobin Moore will be on display at Ohio University Southern’s art gallery through Dec. 3.

Moore is a Charleston, West Virginia-based artist who began drawing as a child and pursued an art degree while serving in the U.S. Navy.

A self-described “service brat,” he grew up on U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force bases around the states and overseas.
