This is something very disheartening for cine-goers as today’s two big releases Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 4 and Thalapathy Vijay’s Bigil have been leaked online by Tamil rockers that too within few hours after release.
Truth to be said, despite numerous preventive measures by Government and filmmakers to stop privacy, nothing has worked in favor of the Indian film industry, as one gets to hear about piracy now and then after every new release.
Following the leak, there’s this scare of business affecting both Housefull 4 and Bigil at the box-office.
This isn’t the first time where a film has been a target of piracy. Earlier this year big releases like Prabhas starrer Saaho, Rajinikanth’s Petta, Thala Ajith’s Viswasam, Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30, Hollywood biggies like The Lion King, Aladdin along with many other films have fallen victim to Tamil Rockers.
Talking about Kollywood release Bigil, apart from Thalapathy Vijay, the sports-action drama also stars Nayanthara, Jackie Shroff, Yogi Babu, Vivek along with others. The film today on its release day received a great opening and theatres are running packed houses.
The Vijay starrer is been directed by Atlee and it is been made at a whopping budget of 180 crores. The music for the film has been composed by musical great AR Rahman.
Talking about Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4, the comedy caper also has Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbanda, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, Rana Daggubati along with others in major roles.
