His newest present, Visions of the Metropolis, on check out at ATM Gallery, feels like his most mature, cohesive output. There is overhead landscapes, city streets, bar scenes, virtually as if a soundtrack of paint is staying visualized in entrance of you. There are night and dusk scenes, some sense smokey and other individuals have a video video game ingredient to them. In some operates, Tadić literally provides comedian ebook aesthetics around brooding backdrops, an just about animated, cartoon appear. The gallery notes a graphic novel quality, and that is place-on. From time to time our visions of a area have a duality, a story yet to be written. In the natural beauty of Tadić’s paintings, he is dwelling within a fantasical planet, and demonstrates that house and a desire can co-exist. —Evan Pricco
