The West Baton Rouge Section of Parks and Recreation provides qualified entertainments and art and science lessons in 4 places all through the parish. Hobey Ford is one of our greatest puppeteers. He is a two-timed winner of puppetry’s optimum honor, the UNIMA Citation of Excellence and is the recipient of a few Jim Henson Foundation grants. It is thrilling to have him conduct in West Baton Rouge.
Hobey Ford’s Animalia is a spellbinding, magical, up close exploration of the animal globe, from the metamorphosis of a butterfly and a tadpole, to the flight of a bald eagle and the playful romp of otters. The demonstrate is done to songs as Hobey breaks out of the conventional puppet theater booth, turning the whole area in entrance of the viewers into his efficiency phase.
