Wintertime Art Camp (Ages 9–12): Afro-Atlantic Histories & Local community

Students will explore community as a result of artworks in the exhibition Afro-Atlantic Histories and will produce their individual art encouraged by the folks and activities in their very own group in this combined media course. With artist Eszter Delgado.
This software will choose position indoors on LACMA’s campus, Monday–Friday, January 2–6.
About the Teacher
Eszter Delgado is a Los Angeles–primarily based artist, educator, activist, and curator. She received her BFA from Cal Poly Humboldt with a Minimal in Multi-Cultural Experiments and MFA from Claremont Graduate College. Eszter has taught art all around California, from the Hoopa and Yurok reservations in Northern California to the southern U.S.-Mexico border and in Maui, Hawai’i, at the Kamehameha Faculty. Her work responds to cultural and societal concerns and has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Eszter has participated in food stuff and water drops close to the U.S.-Mexico Border, which educated her most new installation project.

Pre-registration is essential for all courses. Enrollment for Winter season Artwork Camp commences on November 16, 2022, at 10 am PST.
